The National Commission for Women (NCW) has set up a dedicated round the clock (24x7) Helpline number for women in distress since 24th July, 2021. The round the clock helpline provides online support to women affected by violence or mental stress through referral by linking them with appropriate authorities such as Police, Health Services, District Legal Service Authority. Helpline also provide counseling services and information about women related programs across the country.
